PART B - digital photograph

SPECIAL REGULATIONS

  • In all classes the photographs must have been taken by the exhibitor and not previously won a prize at the Busselton Show.
  • All prints must be mounted on mounting boards. The exhibitor’s name and address must NOT appear on the front of the mount. Mounts available Ph 9754 3791.
  • The thickness of print mount should be restricted to 5mm for ease of fixing to display boards. Entries must not be framed with or without glass.
  • Size of mounts should not exceed those specified otherwise entries will not be accepted.
  • Only one photograph per mount, unless otherwise specified.
  • Please affix your image firmly to your mount.
  • Exhibitors to attach Velcro hooks on to the back of all prints to assist in displaying.
  • A limit of 3 photographs per class, per person.

HINTS

  • Read the special regulations and keep to the photograph and mount sizes.
  • Keep your photographs simple.
  • Outdoor photographs of people and animals are best taken on an overcast day.
  • The best time to take photographs is before 10.00am or after 4.00pm.
  • Move in close to your subject.
  • When taking seascapes, check that the horizon is level.
